For Genuine Parts, the Warranty is only valid for the first to expire of the following time periods (the “Genuine Parts Warranty Period,” or “Warranty Period”):
A. The period of 12 months following the date on which the Genuine Part is first put into use for its intended purpose, or would be capable of being put into use for its intended purposed but for a reason beyond the reasonable control of Company (e.g. lack of a fuel supply), or
B. The period of 36 months following the date on which the risk of loss for the Genuine Part passes to Purchaser.

The warranty period for new and REMAN parts is 12 months after delivery to the customer, however, no longer than 36 months after delivery of the part to the dealer in case of proper storage. For parts that are subject to a natural aging process such as gaskets, rubber expansion joints, etc. the warranty period is 12 months after delivery to the customer, however, no longer than 24 months after delivery to the dealer.

The terms applicable to replacement parts and retrofit kits are the product-specific guarantee and warranty terms (see Appendix 3). The warranty and guarantee periods begin from the date of installation and in any case not later than 12 months after shipping by PALFINGER to the contract partner. Any guarantee or warranty case is to be submitted in the agreed form (generally using Claim Management as a ‘Replacement part guarantee’). Every fitting of replacement parts is to be documented (including in the service manual) and on request from PALFINGER the relevant verification is to be sent.

Parts Warranty: Seller warrants the parts ordered from the Seller’s parts department to be free of defect in material or workmanship for either (1) a period of 12 months after date of shipment from the factory or (2) 2000 hrs of use or (3) the balance of the remaining new equipment warranty, whichever occurs first. With respect to parts ordered from the Seller’s parts department for Equipment that is no longer covered under this limited product warranty due to lapse of time or usage in excess of 4,000 hours of Critical Components, Seller warrants such parts to be free of defect in material or workmanship for a period of either 12 months after date of shipment from the factory or 2000 hrs of use, whichever occurs first.

The warranty period for parts purchased from Olympian is 24 months from date of dispatch to the Dealer or 12 months from date of purchase by the first user, whichever is soonest. Parts, including engines (complete, long block or short block), replaced under the terms of the warranty are covered for the remainder of the original generator set warranty period, as if such parts were original components. The warranty on such parts ceases when the original warranty period expires, regardless of when the parts were replaced.

PARTS WARRANTY (C.8)
Parts Warranty provides coverage for a replacement part that was installed on a unit and
failed within six (6) months of installation. Labour reimbursement is not available in
connection with Parts Warranty claims. Parts replaced under the terms of a Standard
Warranty are covered by the standard machi111e warranty for the remainder of the original
standard warranty period for labour and travel reimbursement.
